Modular Range
The new modular range of 3M™ Powered Air & Airfed Respirators allows the customer to choose how they want their system configured, with the flexibility to change their 3M™ Respiratory Protection in the future.

3M™ QRS Headtops
The modular range comprises 22 different Powered Air & Airfed Respirator Headtops, grouped into five Headtop Series.

3M™ 100 Series Hoods
3M™ 400 Series Visors
3M™ 600 Series Welding Visors
3M™ 700 Series Headtops
3M™ 800 Series Helmets

Each Series includes headtops with similar capabilities. For example, the 3M™ 600 Series Welding Visors offers a choice of five welding visor headtops.

QRS (Quick-Release-Swivel)
Central to the modular concept is the QRS attachment system. This unique breathing tube connector, featuring click-in connection and independent swivel movement, is used on all the headtops in the range.

All the new Headtops feature the QRS (Quick Release Swivel) Connection and are approved for use with any of the following Belt Units:

Airfed Respirators:

  • 3M™ Vortemp™ Airfed Heater

Old Systems
To support the move to a modular range all the old ‘Complete Systems’ - comprising headtop, breathing tube and turbo in one box - such as the DM4, BE110 etc. are no longer available.
