Metal-free nano-technology in the 3M™ Window Film Prestige Exterior Series selectively reflects light, rejecting up to 97 percent of the sun's heat-producing infrared light and up to 99 percent of UV rays. The result helps the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame to reduce energy costs by 8-12 percent annually, as well as preserve the integrity of natural ambient lighting. The Prestige Exterior Series was applied to the museum’s exterior, which is made almost entirely of glass.
