3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin Joints and Resins
High mechanical stress, changing temperatures, application underwater and underground: jointing kits must resist the highest levels of stress. When it comes to cable jointing you expect maximum reliability, durability and low maintenance 3M has developed electrical resins and resin kit portfolio for all types of electrical installer needs.
The perfect joint in four steps:
Prevent resin spillage or faulty connections using 3M resin joints. The easy to use CMP (closed mixing and pouring) system enables jointing in only four easy steps; Low risk of skin-to-resin contact, No cutting of the mould body to fit the allocated space, in taping of the mould body ends for sealing.
Protecting your cable connection
When cable jointing is necessary during installation resin kits are the solution of choice. They provide mechanical protection and electrical insulation when used in outdoor and indoor application. Resin mixing and pouring is critical and this must be simple, fast and clean.

Rapid installation, immediate re-energization and ease of use it makes this the first choice in electrical cable jointing.
It is the quality of 3M Scotchcast resins that provides a job well done and ensures that we are the first choice when it comes to choosing resins
We have a wide range of polyurethane resins designed for mechanical protection and electrical installation of low voltage cable joints in a variety of standard and challenging environmental applications.
Optimised CMP (closed mixing and pouring) system
Our CMP (closed mixing and pouring) system is a clean, user-friendly solution for mixing and pouring resin. 3M Scotchcast™ resins comes in transparent two-chamber bags. One chamber contains the resin, the other the curing agent. By tearing the seam between the chambers, the two components can be mixed manually to form the resin ready to pour into the mould body of the cable joint housing.
